Summary

Fanatastic winds up to 30 knots made Team Aegis go the fastest it has ever been - 13.1 knots.

We managed to keep the spinnaker underneath the boat almost the whole race. One quick broach probably cost us first place. But a quick recovery got us back in the game and we went the rest of the way with no trouble finishing 2nd. just 6 seconds out of first place.

Great party at Tred Avon Yacht Club.

We had lots of new crew on board with a lot of racing talent. Great work by all.

Bob and Lisa Fleck worked almost the entire race trimming spinnaker and jib with lots of grinding in high winds. Hopefully they will become regualr crew on the boat now.

Warren did the pointy end with his girl friend Amy assisting and together they kept things intact and smooth. Hopefully they will come back to race with us again.
