Summary

Fantastic weekend of sailing and even with new crew, we brought home the big win. My thanks to Scott Nixon who showed us how the big boys do it. I think I can speak for all of us, when I say that we upped our game this weekend with Scott demonstrating what precision sailing is about. Great crew work and very impressive tactics calling with very few and very minor bumps in tacks and gybes. We went into the last race with a comfortable lead, but a bad start trapped us on the right side while the rest of the fleet sailed away to the favored left. We could have given away this race but we got back into the game quickly and won with just enough of a lead to take 1st. place for the regatta.

My thanks to Scott and the rest of the crew for a very impressive win and more trophys for the trophy case.
